How to Use Gridline Sensitivity

When working with Logo Grid Generator, most logos fall into one of six common categories.

Because each logo type has distinct geometric characteristics, it requires a specific Gridline Sensitivity setting to produce clean, accurate construction grids. Using the correct sensitivity ensures that the generated gridlines align properly with the logo’s structure and proportions.

Below, you’ll find clear examples of each logo type, along with the recommended Gridline Sensitivity setting in the Logo Grid Generator Preference Tab,  to achieve optimal gridline results.

This type of logo has:

  • Straight Lines

Using a Gridline Sensitivity setting of 0 for this type of logo, gives the best results.
