How to use Brand Guidelines Generator

Guideit automates the creation of Brand Guidelines directly within Adobe Illustrator. Follow these steps to generate a complete document in minutes.

Step 1: Open Guideit

To open the extension, go to Window > Extensions > Akrivi Guideit.

Step 2: Set Your Brand Assets

In the Brand Assets tab, input your brand’s core elements.

• Set Your Logos: Select your vector object on the artboard, then click the corresponding button:
  • Set Logomark
  • Set Logotype
  • Set Full Logo

• Input Brand Name: Enter the Brand Name
• Add Fonts: Then select your Fonts from the dropdown menus.
• Add Colors: Finally, input the HEX codes for your Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary colors.

Step 3: Choose a Template

Click the Templates tab. Select the Automated Template™ style that best fits the brand's aesthetic.

Step 4: Generate Your Guidelines

Click the Generate button.

Guideit will automatically build a multi-page Illustrator document with all your assets populated into the chosen template.

Step 5: Make Instant Updates

To update the entire document after a change (like a new color or font), go back to the Brand Assets tab, edit the value, and click Apply Changes.
